There are events that become traditions, and there are traditions that, over time, become part of a community’s story. For 35 years, the Budapest Wine Festival has been a defining meeting point for Hungarian wine culture, where wine connects the wine regions, the profession and the public, while creating new shared experiences year after year. From Wednesday to Saturday, 9 to 12 September, the Wine Festival awaits you in the stunning setting of the Buda Castle Palace. This year’s guest of honour will be the Americas, giving you the chance to discover the exciting flavours of the New World alongside thousands of Hungarian wines. The premium gastronomy selection will be complemented by free tastings, professional programmes and live music performances, while concerts and DJs will set the mood in the evenings. For those looking for a truly special festival experience, the VIP venue will also be available again this year, offering an exclusive drinks selection and premium services.

In 2024, the 33rd. Budapest wine festival, we were free to tour the constantly beautifying courtyards of the Buda Castle, where we could taste fantastic wines and dishes. For 4 wonderful days, we said goodbye to the summer together with our favorite wine in our hands. One of the most beautiful festivals in the country, but perhaps in Europe, this year awaited everyone with new squares and programs, of which beautiful photos were also taken.

During the day we enjoyed the summer sunshine, in the evening the pleasant autumn weather and the atmospheric scenery of the Buda Castle at the 32nd Budapest Wine Festival. We sampled a selection of quality wines, tasted gastronomic miracles and learned about the wine culture and traditional dishes of South America. We broadened our horizons with various professional programmes and, most importantly, we had a fantastic experience!
