This year, the festival atmosphere arrives in Buda Castle as early as Wednesday. Every evening at 7:30 PM, live concerts take over the MVM Stage, where the breathtaking panorama of the Danube and the city bathed in sunset create an unforgettable setting. From 9:00 PM onwards, DJs keep the energy high, providing the soundtrack for the festivities late into the night.
The vibrant atmosphere around the stage begins long before the evening headline concerts. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy performances by both emerging and established acts representing jazz, blues, folk, and pop. Alongside the musical programme, the popular Kvaterka returns this year, welcoming guests every day from 6:00 PM. During these informal roundtable conversations, winemakers and gastronomy experts share their stories, insights, and, naturally, their outstanding wines with the audience gathered around the stage.
The concert series kicks off on Wednesday with ManGoRise, a band that has become a staple of Hungary's festival scene thanks to its distinctive sound and energetic live performances. On Thursday, internationally acclaimed Beatles tribute band The Bits-regular performers at Liverpool's legendary International Beatle Week-bring timeless Beatles classics to the stage.
On Friday, Messessippi takes over, blending blues, folk, and rock with Hungarian, Irish, and Native American musical influences to create a truly unique sound. The festival concludes on Saturday with the high-energy Dynamite Dudes, whose rockabilly, blues, and rock & roll performance is guaranteed to get the audience dancing.
Whether you're stopping by for a relaxed afternoon wine tasting, an evening concert, or a full night of festival celebrations, the area around the MVM Stage always offers another memorable musical experience-and another excellent glass of wine.
