Tickets
Online ticket purchase
Tickets purchased in advance can be redeemed at the cashier's booths located at the festival's entrances. We do not charge any transaction fee for purchasing tickets through our online system.
Please note that according to the regulations concerning music&dance events of the CURRENTLY EFFECTIVE (many times modified) 484/2020. (XI. 10.) decree of the Hungarian government, Budapest Wine Festival can only be visited by persons protected against the coronavirus and by persons under eighteen years when accompanied by a protected person. We are obliged to refuse and prevent the entry of those who do not provide credible proof of their protection against the coronavirus, or age. What tickets include
Besides the information given above for the different ticket types it is important to know that tickets include one tasting glass. In case of damage or loss, you can purchase a new one at the Main Information point in the Hunyadi courtyard. Tickets do not include free tasting, you have to pay for wine and food at exhibitors' stands but you can enjoy all concerts, professional and other programs for free!
Transaction fee
We do not charge any transaction fee on purchases carried out through our online ticketing system.
Validating your e-ticket
Electronic daily tickets and four-day passes can be validated at the festival entrances in the cashier booths marked 'Pre-Paid Tickets'. You can either present the QR code on paper or on the screen of your smart device. Tickets already purchased are not refundable!
'SZÉP' cafeteria cards
Tickets cannot be purchased by 'SZÉP' cafeteria cards, neither online, nor on the spot. Thank you for your understanding!
Wristband for children
Entry is free for children under the age of 14. Ask for a free wristband for your child at the cashiers. Write the name of your child and your phone number on the wristband to ensure that your loved one is found quickly in case of getting lost in the crowd.
