The early afternoon at the Budapest Wine Festival offers a completely different atmosphere from the lively evening hours. Before the crowds arrive, you can explore the exhibitors at a comfortable pace, chat with winemakers, take your time getting to know their wines, and discover hidden gems you might otherwise miss during the busier periods.
And once you've finished tasting and talking wine, you're welcome to stay and enjoy the evening concerts, breathtaking views over Budapest, and the vibrant festival atmosphere until closing time.
With the Explorer Ticket, you can attend the Budapest Wine Festival for half the price of the on-site daily ticket.
What you need to know:
- The Explorer Ticket is available online only and can be purchased until midnight on the day before your selected visit. It is valid for Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
- You must enter the festival between opening time and 5:00 PM. Once you have entered, you are welcome to stay until the festival closes and enjoy both the afternoon wine tasting and the evening programme. Please note that re-entry is not permitted with the Explorer Ticket. If you leave the festival grounds, you will not be able to enter again using the same wristband.
