Something Different Every Day, Only the Best!

Each day, two top wineries will pass the key to our stand between them, meaning that wines from eight different wineries can be tasted at the Mindmegette Experiences & Top 100 Hungarian Wines Terrace over the four days of the Wine Festival. Our exhibitors are exclusively winemakers who not only entered the Top 100 Hungarian Wines competition, but also had at least one of their wines selected among the very best! So, if you want to play it safe, head straight to Stand 23 – you really can’t go too far wrong…

Top 100 Hungarian Wines is the longest-running Hungarian wine ranking on the market, published every autumn – and it has become a trusted reference for discovering which Hungarian wines are worth stocking up on, not just for Christmas, but throughout the year.

Until now, we have not taken the publication to the festival stage, but that is about to change – along with many other things! The revamped Top 100 Hungarian Wines, launching this November, will celebrate its category winners at a spectacular awards gala and tasting event. In the meantime, we will showcase previous winners at various festivals and tasting events. First stop: the Wine Festival in the Castle District, where from Wednesday to Saturday, festival-goers looking for top-quality wines can meet eight outstanding wineries each day.

And once they’ve tasted all the top wines, there’s still a chance to spin the wheel – either with each other or with the Mindmegette Experiences Wheel of Fortune! Alongside many other prizes, visitors can win discounted tickets to cooking classes, evening talks and wine tastings throughout the autumn and winter season.
